IOLS customers who
have their email address as yourusername@iols.net can also use our new
web based email services (IOLS WebMail) by going to http://www.iols.com/webmail
If this is your first time using IOLS WebMail you may be greeted with
a Welcome Screen (Click "Continue") and then presented with
your current settings. Simply scroll to the bottom of the screen
and click "Save". You can go back by clicking on the
one of the Icons in the system and change your settings later.
If you would like to use IOLS Web Mail to retrieve your email using a
web browser please do the following:
- Go to: http://www.iols.com/webmail
- Enter your IOLS
username and password
- When the window
opens click on the icon labeled "POP3"
- If clicking
on the "POP3" icon does not work...
You'll need to setup IOLS WebMail to retrieve your messages.
- Click on
the icon labeled "Pref"
and the "User Preference" page will open
- Click on
the icon labeled "POP3 Setup"
- Enter
the following information
POP3 Server: mail.iols.net
ID: yourusername
Passwd: your password
- Click on
the "Add/Modify" button to the right
- Click on
the "Back to User preferences" button at the
bottom of the page
- Scroll
to the bottom of the page "User preferences"
page and click on the "Save" button
- Click on
the icon labeled "POP3" to
retrieve your messages
- Your messages
will be retrieved from the iols.net mail server into the IOLS
WebMail system and you'll be able to view and delete as well as
reply to any messages you've received.
Things to
remember about using any WebMail service...
- Delete any junk
or unnecessary messages from the server since there is a finite
amount of space available to you. If you run out of space
your will not be able to receive any messages.
- IMPORTANT:
Be sure to click on the "Logout" button
when you are finished and follow the procedure so that no one else
will be able to view or use your email.
*You can always
access IOLS WebMail from our home page at www.iols.com
and click on the "IOLS WebMail" link located in the upper
right corner of the page.
