If this is your first internet
connection
click on the
or
on your desktop.
If you have had an account with another provider you may need to
locate the Internet Connection Wizard in your Start menu.
Click on Start, select Programs and look for the program
"Internet Connection Wizard" or "Connection
Wizard".
Microsoft has a few different
versions for the wizard depending on which version of Windows you
are using. Either way the information required is the same.
When asked what type on connection
you want to establish make sure that you specify the you already
have an existing Internet account and that you want to set it up on
your computer.
You will need to provide a Dialup
Access number. Please refer to our listing by clicking here
to local a local dialup access to serve you.
Name your connection "IOLS"
When prompted for your user name and
password enter "yourusername@access" (No
quotes) and password all in lower case letters only.
When asked if you want to setup an
email account select yes.
Your POP3 user name will be "yourusername" (No quotes)
only.
The mail servers to enter are
"mail.iols.net" (No quotes)
The news server portion of the wizard
is similar to the email portion.
Do not setup a Directory service.
When done click finish and you're
ready to connect to the Internet by simply clicking on the Internet
Icon
or the Internet Explorer icon
on
your desk top.
